About Sunway Lagoon + Zoo Negara Combo Ticket
Zoo Negara — officially Malaysia's National Zoo since its opening in November 1963 — is the complementary second act. Spanning over 110 acres in Hulu Kelang, it houses 5,000+ animals from 400+ species in 12+ sections with a distinct emphasis on Malaysian wildlife. The Malayan tiger, one of the world's most critically endangered large cats, is a major draw. The Hornbill Centre is among Southeast Asia's most significant hornbill conservation facilities, housing 7 of Malaysia's 10 species. The open-concept Savannah zone, home to giraffes and zebras, the Reptile House, Bird Aviary, and Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium all contribute to a genuinely comprehensive wildlife day. Book both on Thrillark.

Insiders' Tips
Both Sunway Lagoon and Zoo Negara are closed on Tuesdays (except Malaysian school holidays and public holidays). Plan your visit on a weekday for shorter queues at Sunway Lagoon — arrive at opening (10 AM) and head to the Vuvuzela first before it fills up. Zoo Negara is best visited at opening (9 AM) when animals are most active; the afternoon heat slows animal movement considerably.
