About KidZania Tokyo Ticket

KidZania is an edutainment concept — a carefully arranged combination of education and entertainment — that has captured the imagination of children and families worldwide since it first opened in Mexico City in 1999. KidZania Tokyo brings the full concept to a two-thirds-scale city at LaLaport Toyosu, complete with streets, traffic signals, crosswalks, and approximately 100 establishments sponsored by real Japanese companies — each offering a different job or service experience with the company's actual uniforms, logos, and tools.

Children arrive and receive an Activity Set including a Job Schedule Card and 50 starter kidZos, then set off through the miniature city choosing which jobs to try. Each activity takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes — a short training period followed by the job task itself — and upon completion, children are paid in kidZos which they can accumulate, save, or spend throughout the shift. Popular job experiences include becoming a firefighter, doctor, nurse, news anchor, pizza chef, airline pilot, car driver, police officer, surgeon, sushi chef, and many more — all represented by real sponsor companies whose logos, branding, and uniforms create a convincingly authentic role-play environment. Activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis so arriving early and heading to the most popular pavillon immediately after the shift opens is strongly recommended.

The entire facility operates on a two-shift system — First Shift from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Second Shift from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM — with a complete changeover between sessions. Every Wednesday is English Wednesday at KidZania Tokyo, when approximately half of the activities are conducted in English — the most recommended day for international families. An English Premium Tour is also available on advance reservation for groups wanting a dedicated English-speaking guide, guaranteed activity bookings, and a special Japanese cultural experience included. Adults accompany children but cannot take part in the job activities themselves — guardian areas, the food court, and the shopping mall directly outside provide comfortable waiting options.
