The excitement begins before dawn and you are going to be thankful that you woke up early. You will be picked up by our driver in a sleek Range Rover and driven to the desert balloon launch location. From Dubai, it takes only about 45 minutes to get there. When you arrive at the desert launch site, your private balloon pilot will greet you. The thrilling balloon inflation process will start once the Pilot has given a brief safety presentation. Before you realize it, your hot air balloon will be softly floating and ascending into the sky as you get into the basket and wave to the ground crew.
Take in the breathtaking views of the sunrise over the rolling sand dunes and the Hajar mountains as the hot air balloon soar over the Dubai desert at 4,000 feet in the air. - The duration of the Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure is around 5 hours.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing (long trousers and sleeves recommended) with running shoes for the Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure.
- Guests below the age of 5 are not permitted for the Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure.
- Guests above the age of 5 are charged the adult fare.
- Due to the nature of the activity, attendees need to be healthy and able-bodied.
- The Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure is not suitable for people who suffer from fear of flying.
- Please note that this booking is on a request basis and availability will be confirmed 24 hours before departure.
- Pick-up times will vary throughout the year. In order for you to plan your day, please be prepared for a pick-up between the following times:
- September - November: 03:30 am - 04:30 am
- December - February: 04:30 am - 05:30 am
- March-May: 03:30 am - 04:30 am
- Kindly provide us with your hotel, room number, and contact number as we need to call you to advise the exact pickup time. If we call and are unable to reach you, we will leave a written message with the reception/operator, to be delivered to your room.
- Due to the nature of the activity, the driver will not be able to wait if you are not at the designated meeting point on time.
- If you have not received a written message from Balloon Adventures by 8pm the evening before your flight, please check with your Hotel or call us on 04-4409827.
- Occasionally some mornings we may experience strong winds or fog, if this happens, we may change the order of your experience to make it more enjoyable.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations are unfortunately non-refundable for the private hot air balloon adventure.

- The Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure vouchers will be mailed to you once you’ve made a booking. All you have to do is show the voucher with a Govt id proof.
