About Scuba Diving in Abu Dhabi - National Aquarium
Dive your way into The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi, the biggest aquarium in the Middle East. Housing more than 300 species of marine life traversing from the tropical waters of the Pacific and fresh waters of the Amazon through to the frozen ice covers of the Arctic and the caverns of the Mediterranean, the aquarium lodges 46,000 marine creatures spread across 10 zones. The aquarium houses more than 200 sharks and rays representing over 25 distinct species. Restrictions:
- Smoking is strictly permitted in designated areas.
- The Scuba Diving in Abu Dhabi is available "on request" basis.
- The dress code policy applies in line with local customs.
- Children below the age of 3 years can enter the aquarium free of charge.
- Please note that the scuba diving is available only "on request" basis.
- Non-certified divers need to report two hours prior to the dive to complete the theory lesson and practice dive.
- Certified divers need to report one hour prior to the dive.
- No children under the age of 12 will be admitted to The National Aquarium unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or above.
- The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi has its own Signage Guide App available which can provide information about marine species in world common languages. (Arabic, Chinese, English, Hindi, Russian and Spanish)
Cancellation Policy
- The tickets purchased will be valid for 2 weeks from the date of purchase. All Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
