About Van Gogh Museum Ticket
The famous Dutch artist spent his lifetime, giving life and meaning to his art and you can feel it in his works, but only gain recognition and fame after his death. You will also experience this as you walk through the framed hallways, the first paintings the dark and earthy first paintings depict the hard lives of laborers and farmers The Potato Eaters captures this essence. Then as you walk on by you see Van Gogh’s work explode with light and colors, you can see it in the brush strokes, and how he experimented with new techniques Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat is an example of impressionism.
As you see the sunflower painting you will sense a shift of mood, you will feel the colors, this is Van Gogh at his brightest and most expressive.
