About Sun World Fansipan Legend
From the Sun Plaza, you’ll board the Muong Hoa funicular, a train that winds its way through the emerald valleys and terraced rice fields, all the way to Hoang Lien Cable Car Station, where the real ascent begins!
Sat above the clouds on a 20-minute cable car journey, you can feel the world dropping away as the peaks of the Hoang Lien Son range rise around you. And as you near Fansipan Station, perched at 3,147 meters, hence the name- Roof of Indochina. Here, you will see a breathtaking complex of pagodas, giant Buddha statues, and ancient shrines await, blending nature and spirituality.
And for the final ascent to the summit, you can choose between the gentle Fansipan funicular or a short hike of 700 steps to touch the sky at Vietnam’s highest point! The return journey offers you one last glance at majestic mountains, making this seamless, sky-high adventure truly unforgettable.
