A Royal Treat: Experiencing Afternoon Tea at Le Cafe, Emirates Palace

At the center of Abu-Dhabi, one of the most luxurious haven stands, where opulence and splendor overcome the tradition. The Emirates Palace is a proof of hospitality and greatness of the UAE culture. Experience the ritual of the Afternoon Tea in Le Cafe located within the golden walls of the Emirates Palace, which has managed to retain the sophisticated tradition which was started several years ago. A Symphony of Elegance As soon as you enter Le Cafe, you are thrown into a world of royal pomp. Gold leaf decorations and complex mosaics characterize the courtly splendour of the Emirate Palace’s interior. The massive ceilings and elegant chandlers heighten the aura of humility and reverence. Sit on the comfortable couches admiring the immaculately kept gardens below and out onto the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. Here, time appears to have stood still. The attentive staff wearing traditional Emirati garments create a sense of comfort and warmth that enhances the experience of the wonderful Emirati cuisine. The Pinnacle of Afternoon Tea The Afternoon Tea is more than just a meal at Le Cafe. Rather, it is a celebration of Middle Eastern sophistication. Designed meticulously and with panache, the menu blends classic English tea with a touch of the East. While settling down, the delicate noise of fine china and the subtle aroma of freshly prepared tea will give you a symphony as preparation for more indulgences awaits. Le Cafe’s choice of teas is simply amazing. Each of these options is an odyssey by itself, ranging from classic Earl Grey to exotic blends with Arabian spices. Tea specialists provide the necessary orientation to make sure guests will find their tea according to not only to individual tastes but also to the voyage of flavours going ahead. Once a tray carrying different types of sweets and looking as tempting as they taste arrives, the tea service starts. There are also finger sandwiches at the bottom tier. These are exquisitely prepared using fresh ingredients. Traditional cucumber sandwiches go hand in hand with Arabic-flavored dishes that create a surprising mix. The middle tier showcases the freshly baked scones, an element of any ideal Afternoon Tea. These are served along with clotted cream as well as several other homemade jams. At Le Cafe, each bite of a scone is an epiphany – a perfect balance between flakiness and tenderness. Delicacy is at its peak on the top tier as the Emirates Palace chefs show off their cooking skills with a great selection of delectable patisseries and desserts, the final touch to Afternoon Tea. They are made of light pastry, delicate eclairs, and tiny tartlets decorated with edible gold leaf- everything, all artworks of culinary. Just the presentation alone gives you a feeling of wonder, but it’s the orchestra of tastes that does the trick for the taste buds. A Culinary Journey through Tradition and Innovation At Le Cafe, Afternoon Tea is not only about the art of gastronomy but also a way of travelling in time and through cultures. The blend of English tea tradition with the spicy oriental taste forms an exclusive and inimitable feeling. A Middle Eastern spin on finger sandwiches is the cornerstone of Afternoon Tea. A whiff of mint in the classic cucumber sandwich and a subtle dill-flavoured cream cheese partnered with smoked salmon take this treat to a whole new level. Slightly spicy falafel sliders also add to these delicacies with a hint of local flavours. Scones are derived from Britain but turned into a fine work of art. Dates and nuts add an Arabic touch, honouring local ingredients that distinguish this region. It is a combination of two worlds, a perfect union of different textures and tastes, and a testimony of the dedication of the chefs who stick to traditions but also strive for innovations. It is apparent that the Afternoon Tea at Le Cafe is not just another meal but rather a gathering of meaningful experiences you appreciate while enjoying every bite. The pastry and dessert are decorated with complicated designs, and the garnish shows something more than the cooking style. Hommages to Middle Eastern confections are offered in phyllo-based petit fours layered with honeyed nuts The Ritual of Tea At Le Café, serving tea becomes an art—a dance of precision that complements all the senses of savoury. Tea sommeliers, trained for this purpose, walk guests through all the complexities around each blend, telling them about different blends and regions. Each cup of tea is brewed with utmost care so as to produce unforgettable flavours and scents in every sip. Rose petals’ sweet aroma blends with the strong flavour of black tea, leading to a unique sensory experience that testifies to the cultural fusion witnessed throughout the Emirates Palace. Tea presentation is a show on its own. Luxury is also added through the use of fine china, with gold embellishments and silver teapot in the surrounding light. Pouring tea turns into a communal rite – the unspoken, private yet intimate ritual that links guests together and binds them in the love for traditions. Beyond Culinary Delight: A Feast for the Senses Le Cafe’s Afternoon Tea moves the culinary experience far beyond a mere gourmet affair by involving not only the taste buds but also the eyes and ears. It creates an atmosphere of imperial luxury that inspires a trip on time and culture. Each item on the menu, from the finger sandwiches to the delicate pastries, makes up a visual symphony, adding to the feeling of complete and utter indulgence. There is a unique olfactory environment that surrounds these odorous sensations of teas and just baked scones, which adds much to the dining pleasure. The sound of clanking teaspoons and whispers creates this atmosphere that joins all guests with special delight. The beauty of the palace gardens, together with the shining water of the Gulf, serve as a perfect accompaniment to this visual feast. At the Le Cafe, therefore, the Afternoon Tea is much more than a meal;

Winter Wonders: Must-See Shows and Events in the UAE of the Season

Is it just me, or does the whole world love winter a tad bit more than the rest of the seasons?! There is something about winter that makes it extra special. Maybe it’s the holiday buzz kicking in or the cheer of Christmas in the air. UAE is an already exquisite location, but in winter, it transforms itself into something truly majestic and magnificent. If you are planning to visit Dubai this holiday season, then you are in for an absolute treat! The Winter Wonders of the UAE Winter transforms UAE into a place full of cheer and happiness, making it the best place to visit if you plan to do so. Because of its diverse landscape and advanced technology, the UAE is home to some of the most exquisite shows and events one can come across this winter. There are a ton of holiday-themed activities and sources of entertainment available in the UAE, exclusively in the winter season, making it the most wonderful time of the year. I mean, you really have to see it to appreciate it completely. Top 9 Must-See Shows and Events in the UAE This Winter If you are planning to visit the UAE this winter, then here are some of the best things you can make sure to do and places you can visit to make your stay worthwhile:   1. Al Habtoor Winter Garden Want to get into the complete mood of Christmas? Then I suggest you visit the Winter garden in the city of Al Habootr. The place is adorned with Christmas lights and decor, which makes it look like a place Santa would definitely visit! The Christmas trees and lights are decorated in an exquisite pattern, making the lightwork steal all the credit. Tons of events and performances take place at the winter garden, all of which visitors can enjoy. The gourmet food made available at the location makes the visit extra worthwhile. And the best part about the food is that it is winter-themed!   2. Ski Dubai If you visit the Mall of Emirates (which you absolutely should, by the way), make sure you visit Ski Dubai. This indoor ski resort is a favorite among tourists and residents alike, and rightly so. All the activities are winter-themed, along with special events happening exclusively during winter. You can do snowboarding and skiing here and also take part in other winter sports activities and competitions. There is also an opportunity to meet the winter mascots of Ski Dubai and take pictures with them. It is a really great place to have fun. It has become synonymous with winter, as it pretty much draws a parallel with whatever people do in actual winter countries.   3. Burj Al Arab Burj Al Arab is known to be one of the most iconic hotels in Dubai, and it becomes even more spectacular during the Christmas season. If you are someone who loves to see holiday vibes on a more luxurious backdrop, this location might just be perfect. The added highlight is that if you are lucky, you could even meet Santa! The hotel also conducts exclusive events and activities for its guests and families, making it perfect and personal. If this is how you wish to celebrate your holiday season this winter, do not miss a visit to Burj Al Arab.   4. Madinat Jumeirah Love shopping? Who doesn’t?! What makes shopping at Madinat Jumeirah extra special is that the whole place transforms into a winter market during the holiday season. The markets are filled with special goodies that you can never find in the normal season, making them winter-exclusive. You can find quite a lot of products in the market, like local crafts, gifts, and even souvenirs that are holiday-themed. There are also traditional dance and music performances that take place during the evenings at the market. There are tons of other kid-friendly activities taking place at Madinat Jumeirah as well.   5. Jumeirah Emirates Towers The winter festival at Jumeirah Emirates Towers is nothing less than iconic. What makes it even more awesome is the ice skating rink. The place is excellent for winter sports, so if you want to participate in them or just watch them even, there is no better place than the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The food they provide is also quite popular. The pop-up restaurants and gourmet food stalls are what attract people in flocks to this location after the visual treats, of course. The festive lights and decorations curated specifically for winter and Christmas make everything shine brighter and elevate the mood of the visitors as well.   6. Expo Winter City The expo begins on the 8th of December and winds up by the 7th of January, so make sure you visit the place in between this timeline. The whole winter experience offered by this expo is quite different from the rest of the places listed here, as it shows us winter in a different, more beautiful light. There are exhibits present here, along with winter activities, all of which are extremely interactive. Another main attraction of Expo Einter City is the ice sculptures and other similar art installations. In short, if you love Frozen, you will love it here. Adults and kids alike take a special liking to the place, which makes it a great place to visit during winter.   7. Dinner in the Sky Sounds a bit daring, doesn’t it? But don’t worry, this is not some adventure activity I’m asking you to try out this winter. It is actually quite elegant and special, something you could try out, rather than visiting places that make Christmas even more Christmassy. Dubai is breathtaking. But Dubai, seen from the top, in the beautiful backdrop of winter, is something that words cannot describe. The best thing about this dinner in the sky concept is that the menu is winter-themed, and you get to taste all those winter delicacies made by some of the best chefs

Underwater Utopia: A Deep Dive into the UAE’s Spectacular Scuba Experiences

Are you done exploring everything above ground? How about underwater? The world of the marine is as exquisite or even more elaborate than the one we live in, making it mystical and mesmerizing at the same time. And let me tell you, not everyone gets a chance to take a glimpse at this world and marvel at its beauty. So, if you ever get a chance to go scuba diving, I say you grab it with both hands! This holiday season, why not shake things up a little bit by taking a plunge into the deep blue waters of the UAE? Paradise For The Fans Of Underwater Not everyone can go to the moon or Mars, but we can explore underwater! Similar experiences in space and underwater. We don’t know much about these regions, and the prospect of diving deep into the water gives us shivers. The UAE has diverse water bodies of different forms and sizes. Natural and man-made ones have varied terrains and people. Thus, UAE seas are diverse and interesting, allowing divers several options. Let me clarify: you don’t need to be an expert swimmer or diver to enjoy scuba diving in Dubai. It provides several scuba diving opportunities, from artificial reefs to deep sea. Both novice and experienced scuba divers may find something here. For all these reasons and more, the UAE is a top destination for adventurous and significant underwater experiences. Why Is Scuba Diving So Fun? The past few decades, especially the past three years, have seen an increase in people flocking towards scuba diving experience. Why do you think that is? I think maybe it is due to the pandemic and how we were all asked to stay put in our homes. It gave some of us an opportunity to rediscover the best part of nature, which includes underwater wonders as well. Anyhow, people are very much interested in scuba diving right now, and winter is the best time to give it a try in the UAE. Apart from these reasons, we know how great water is. It has a sort of meditative and calming property that people tend to appreciate in current times. Also, like I said, if you want to experience something as close to weightlessness as possible, scuba diving can give you that. It is also an extremely educational one as you get to take a closer look at the marine ecosystem and learn how they function. It helps us appreciate this underwater world, which is often hidden from us. Above all that, the mere act of swimming in the depths of the water is an exhilarating experience in itself. Top 10 Locations in the UAE For Scuba Diving Scuba diving is a one-of-a-kind experience that not everyone gets to enjoy. So, if you happen to be in the UAE and are looking for the top locations to go scuba diving, this list can be of great help:   1. The Lost City of Atlantis As the name suggests, this super-cool place is nothing but a recreation of Atlantis, the city that is said to be submerged in water. This exotic diver’s paradise is in The Palm, which makes it one of the closest places to go scuba diving if you are ever in Dubai. The artificial structures are awe-spiring, which can be an educational session for people as well.   2. Underwater Caves of Musandam I know this is in Oman, which is technically not in the UAE, but it is pretty close. What makes it famous is that it is easy to access. There are so many exotic underwater caves present here, with pretty clear water and tons of marine life to observe. In other words, there are a lot of exciting things one can do here while scuba diving.   3. Coral Gardens in Fujairah Does clear waters and a rich marine ecosystem sound like something you would be interested in? The Coral Gardens, located in Fujairah, can be an excellent scuba diving spot for you. It is located on the east coast of the UAE and is an especially favorite spot for divers because of how clear the water here is.   4. The Artificial Reef in Dubai We have all seen movies where cities are taken over by oceans and how exotic they look underwater. This is something the Artificial Reef in Dubai has tried to replicate. They have intentionally submerged structures and sunken ships to give the air of a submerged cityscape, making it adventurous for scuba divers.   5. Shark Island in Abu Dhabi Don’t get alarmed, but there are sharks on this island. But it is more of a shark sanctuary where you are sure to encounter various species of sharks in their natural habitats. It is completely safe, though, because the instructors will be by your side at all times. If you are more of a daring soul, I suggest you try out this place.   6. Martini Rock in Dubai The Martini Rock is super-famous for its nutrient-rich waters, thanks to its rich marine life and biodiversity. Like most waters in the UAE, this one is also quite clear, making it easier for you to observe the underwater world. There are colorful coral gardens underwater here, which makes for excellent exploration sites.   7. Inchcape 1 in Fujairah Cargo ships that were unfortunate enough to sink have been converted into artificial coral reefs in Inchcape 1, located in Fujairah. Scuba divers can observe the ship wreck and see how it has been slowly converted into something beautiful by the marine life there. It’s really something.   8. The Khor Fakkan Wrecks Just like Inchcape in Fujairah, the Khor Fakkan Wrecks, as the name suggests, is made up of shipwrecks that have beautifully transformed themselves into artificial reefs. It is an excellent place for both novice and expert scuba divers. It is wonderful to see how something that was part of a wreckage has been converted into something as beautiful

The Time Capsule of Tomorrow: Exploring Dubai’s Futuristic Masterpiece, The Future Museum

I bet you have seen glimpses of an iconic building that somewhat resembles a gigantic steel eye when you scan travel magazines or videos of the extravaganza of Dubai. Well, that structure has a name, and it is known as The Museum of Future. It is considered as the pride of Dubai because nowhere else can you see such an architectural wonder that has been brought to life in such a flawless manner. The structure is not just for show because it is a fully functioning futuristic museum, which resembles some of the sci-fi movie scenes. If you are ever in Dubai, do not miss the chance to visit this iconic masterpiece. A Little Bit About The Living Museum Yeah, the Museum of the Future is also sometimes known as the Living Museum, among other wonderful names it has earned over the course of time. The structure is so stunning that it is considered to be the most beautiful museum in the whole world. What adds to its beauty is that it is located on the biggest highway in Dubai, which is the Sheikh Zayed Road. It was the brainchild of the Dubai Future Foundation, and it ponders the question of how science and technology could possibly change society in the next few decades. The engraving of Arabic poems in this torus-shaped building makes it something otherworldly. Do you know what it is that has been engraved into the building walls? It is actually a poem about the future, which was written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and also the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. The people who built this ultra-complex structure were Killa Design and Buro Happold built it. As far as its green grade goes, the building got the LEED Platinum approval on February 3, 2023. The building’s outside has windows that look like Arabic quotes that Dubai’s ruler said about the future of the city. The Dubai Museum of the Future has three lines from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and also the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. These are the three quotes (not the exact version): “We won’t live for hundreds of years, but when it comes to the results of our creativity, it can leave a legacy even long after we are gone.” The future will belong to people who can think of, plan, and build it. The next thing won’t wait. Today, we can plan and build the future. “The secret of the rejuvenation of life, the development of civilization as a whole, and the progress of humanity is in one word: innovation.” Top 7 Things You Can Do At The Future Museum Appreciating the architectural beauty of the museum in itself is something you can do the whole day at the MOFT, but there is actually a ton of fun stuff you can explore there. This list serves as a mini guide:   1. Future Heroes Who, indeed, are the heroes of the future? The kids, of course! The Museum of the Future has a whole floor called Future Heroes that is just for kids younger than ten years old. This place is designed to be both fun and educational, so kids can do interactive tasks, play with their hands, and take on challenges that give them rewards. Kids can make their own characters as part of the Future Heroes show, which encourages them to work together and be creative.   2. Tomorrow, Today Although there are tons of problems we face today, some are more dangerous and more imminent. How about a glimpse of the possible solutions to the same? By showing cutting-edge technology and new ideas, the Tomorrow, Today exhibit hopes to find answers to the most important problems facing the world right now. This floor also shows how the museum works with its strategic partners because it’s a place where global vision ideas can grow and be tested.   3. Al Waha In this heavily technology-based world where we spend all day and all night in front of screens, getting some time to reconnect with ourselves is beyond important. But what is Al Waha? The Arabic word for “the oasis” is “Al Waha.” This is the third part of a visitor’s trip through the Museum of the Future. To get in touch with their feelings more deeply, guests can try out different treatments on this floor. Al Waha tells people to stay steady and focus on themselves.   4. The HEAL Institute We only have one earth and its current inhabitants; our responsibility is to take care of it. People can learn about ecosystems and wildlife in the future at the HEAL Institute, which is an exhibit where you guys can focus on fixing, healing, and renewing life on Earth.   5. Orbital Space Station (OSS) Hope How awesome would it be if you got a chance to see how life in space would be in 2071! You get this very opportunity at the OSS Hope in the Museum. It also shows us how these technologies can solve the problems we face today as a civilization.   6. Dubai Future Forum The Dubai Future Foundation puts on the Dubai Future Forum every year at the Museum of the Future. The forum’s job is to help people talk about the chances and problems that lie ahead for improving cooperation between the government, businesses, and the public. Because top futurists, government officials, and experts are going to be at the event, the groups and live discussions give people a chance to think about, plan for, and adapt to a world that is always changing. “Future of government, technology, environment, space, and society” were the issues of the first Dubai Future Forum, which was held in October 2022.   7. Dubai Metaverse Assembly September 2022 saw the Dubai Metaverse Assembly which was held at the Museum of the Future

The Spice Route: A Traveler’s Handbook to Dubai’s Spice Souk

A long time ago, Dubai was a major trading hub. I know, it’s not a surprising fact. But do you know what is surprising? How efficiently the nation was able to preserve its old cities that still busted with life as it did during the trading days of the past. One such historically relevant and visually pleasing location in Dubai is its Spice Souk. Let us dive deep into this marvel and learn how to navigate it best when we get a chance to visit. The Home Of Spices We all know how big of a role spices played in connecting countries and fortifying trade relationships. Dubai became the biggest player in the spice industry by connecting the East with the West, all thanks to the wonderful collection of spices the nation could provide. With this knowledge, you can now appreciate Spice Souk’s role in making Dubai the luxurious nation we know of today. The criss-cross alleys and the wooden architecture of the spice stalls transport the visitors to a world that belonged to a different time, which somehow was preserved in the midst of the most modern nation in the world. The moment you step into the Souk, you will experience something of the sort of a sensory explosion. The sudden introduction of aromas of different strengths and shades would be nothing less than amazing for the visitors. As you peer into the stalls, you will be able to see the merchants, all dressed in their traditional Arabic attires, getting ready for the trading day to unravel before them. You can see them measuring the spices and then packaging them to give them over to the buyers. Each spice has a story to tell, which reminds me of the book Mistress of Spices written by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. If you ever wanted to read about fiction on spices, I suggest you give it a try The Rainbow Of Colors and Aromas The Spice Souk is not only a treat for your olfactory organs but is a visual treat as well. The burst of colors reminds one of a unique rainbow that keeps getting lighter and darker like it is always in a state of flux. The yellow spices, like turmeric, are kept in sacks close to other spices, like brown cinnamon, red chili, and luxurious saffron. Speaking of saffron, did you know that it is one of the most expensive spices in the world? The authentic ones are super hard to come across as well. The spice merchants of Dubai flaunt their personal collection of saffron, which acts kinda like a testament to the opulence and luxury of the nation. The souk also has cardamoms, which are an integral part of Arabic cuisine. There are both green and black cardamom available here, which can be bought as pods in small packets from the traders. It has such a fresh aroma that it can be used in both sweet and the very savory dishes. There is also cinnamon and sumac, the latter being a bit more citrusy in nature. You might not be much familiar with sumac, but it is also a staple in the Middle Eastern dishes. Why not take a bit of everything back home and try adding them to your everyday dishes? Might make them taste better! All Things Nutty and Tasty How can we not speak about the collection of other wonderful eateries in the Spice Souk while we are there? No discussion of Dubai would be complete without adding dates into the mix. If you want to know what actual real dates taste like, you must come to Spice Souk and taste a sample. The best part is that dates come in all shapes, sizes, and flavors here. Be it dried, plump, soft, or hard, every variety is easily available here. Almonds, pistachios, and walnuts are the stars of the stall as well. People from across the globe come to Dubai to get a taste of their delicious nuts and take some back home to their loved ones as well. Just like dates, you can find all sorts of varieties of nuts here. There is the plain old nuts, and then there is the spiced ones. For the sweet tooths, there is a honey-glazed version of it available as well. You get to purchase them as individual packages or even as an assortment of nuts. The choice is all yours. The Art Of Spice Shopping Now that you are well-versed in the commodities available to buy in the Spice Souk let me share some of the tips you can use to get the best deal for the spices and nuts in the market. The first thing is that you should not shy away from bargaining. But don’t be harsh, be polite but try to get a good deal. Try to create a sense of friendship with the traders and make the air lighter when it comes to bargaining. Then, make sure to have liquid money with you. We might not know if all stalls accept cards. Bring a bag with you to carry the spices and commodities you have purchased. Then, take the time to observe the market and decide for yourself what to buy. The Spice Souk Itinerary You now know everything there is to know about Spice Souk to make the most of the place on your own. Even then, here is a small sample of how you can spend your typical day at the place. P.S., this is completely changeable.   Traditional Breakfast Deira cafés serve typical Arabic breakfasts. Enjoy falafel, hummus, foul, and Arabic bread with coffee or tea.   Visit Spice Souk Enjoy the local scenery as you go to the Spice Souk. Avoid crowds and noon heat by arriving early.   Shop for Spices Explore the Spice Souk’s small lanes and lively vendors. Meet shopkeepers, try spices, and begin your spice buying. Look for different spices, dried fruits, nuts, and herbs. Lunch might be at a neighborhood restaurant

There might be other boats and jet skis as well. Apart from that, the tide of the water and the objects at the vicinity of your jet ski are to be monitored at all times. And I know it goes without saying that you have to be aware of other jet skiers enjoying their vacation nearby. As i said, things are pretty dynamic in the water, so make sure you dont get tunnel vision.   2. Do not forget your life jacket It might not look very fashionable, with its bright orange color and all, but a lifejacket is something non-negotiable when it comes to jet skiing. It is also a strict rule or regulation in most places to wear a life jacket while you jet ski. So chances are that your coach or guide would most definitely make you wear one, but in case they forget, make sure to remind them to give you one. All the clasps are to be fastened properly so that the jacket doesn’t slip out from your body. It keeps you afloat if, by mistake, you fall into the water (which is highly unlikely, but just in case).   3. Be aware of the speed at all times To keep the boat safe, you need to be able to control the jet ski’s speed. Be careful and follow the speed limit. Also, pay attention to the weather, other boats, and your sight. In this case, the jet ski’s speed should be safe and right. It is best to keep the speed steady, as sudden changes could be hard to handle. Being aware of your speed at all times can help keep you and the other people on the jet skis safe, have fun, and avoid accidents.   4. No drinking while driving Now this is non-negotiable. Because of the complex wave motion, sun exposure, and the physical demands of aquatic sports, alcohol has a greater impact on water than on roadways. Alcohol makes it harder to make proper decisions, coordinate your movements, and react quickly. This greatly raises the risk of accidents and makes water unsafe. It is illegal and dangerous to be on a boat while drunk (BUI). To stay safe on the water, jet skiers must be sober.   5. Make a checklist for equipment Taking the time to write down everything you need for jet skiing shows that you care about safety. A life jacket that fits right, a fire extinguisher that works, a reliable whistle or air horn, and any other things that local boat rules say you need should be on this list. A good safety habit is to plan how to check each thing on the list to make sure it is there and working. This list will most definitely help you avoid making mistakes before you leave, which will make your jet skiing trip safer and better planned Top Locations For Jet Skiing In Dubai Do not worry too much about the checklists and rules because most of them will be handled by the guides and operators of the jet ski. All you need to have is a general idea of the safety precautions and a sporty spirit. Come on now, let us look at the top locations where you can go jet skiing in Dubai:   1. The Gold Standard: An Unforgettable Journey Through Dubai’s Resplendent Gold Souk

We have read of cities made of gold and architecture that mesmerizes the viewers only in storybooks, right? Well, what if I tell you there is an actual opportunity for you to view and experience all those things in real life? I’m not kidding. The Gold Souk of Dubai is a place that time forgot to touch because it is as pristine and magical as it was years ago. Want to travel back in time to ancient beauty and mystery? Book a flight to Dubai and visit the Gold Souk! The Iconic Gold Souk of Dubai No, it is not just a place where you go to buy gold. The entire cultural heritage and history that comes with Gold Souk is so rich and immense that it is a crime to ignore it. The alleys lined with exotic shops are arranged in such a manner that it adds to the charm of old Dubai. The wind-tower architecture is something that takes things to a whole new level, and if you are someone who loves to bask in the cultural heritage of cities, make sure you never miss a tour of the Gold Souk. There are actually a ton of things you can do here, like visiting the Gold Museum and trying out the local cuisine. The craftsmanship of the people of Gold Souk is something on another level in itself. What I’m basically trying to say here is that it is absolutely worth your time. The City of Gold For everyone who thinks gold is just a metal, the artisans of the Gold Souk might tell a different story. Under their hammer, the mere metal trunks transform into something more profound and magical. Just like any other art form, the skill and dedication it takes to convert blocks of gold into intricate and delicate pieces of jewelry is immense. The artisans and goldsmiths of the gold souk give you an opportunity to observe the art in the making, which is an excellent opportunity for tourists to observe the entire process of jewelry making. One of the things Dubai is famous for is not just the quantity of gold that it produces but the quality of it as well. It is said to be of high grade, which makes the purchase of gold from Dubai a lifetime investment. Unlike anything else you purchase from here, jewelry is eternal. It does not tarnish with time; the value of gold only increases over time. We all know how committed the craftsmen of Dubai are when it comes to producing high-quality jewelry. If you hold up a gold ornament created here and observe the intricate designs, you will be able to completely appreciate the amount of sweat, energy, and effort put into creating something as beautiful as that. Now, before I forget, I would like to add here that the Gold Souk is not home to gold alone but to other precious metals and stones like diamonds, gemstones, and so on. It is an excellent opportunity for people to take a look at the masters of their craft at work, polishing the stones and adding them to pieces of jewelry to create masterpieces. Now you know Gold Souk is not just another marketplace you stroll through during your tour of the city. It is an actual workhouse of excellence where you get to witness some super-cool stuff up close. I say you make the most of it The Soul Of The City Is Its Markets The souk is not just all gold, diamonds, and all things sparkly. There are tons of other facets to this wonderful marketplace. If you are a fan of delicious smells, both sweet and savory, the perfume shops offer you exactly this. Whenever we think of Dubai, it is often accompanied by the smell of some expensive and alluring perfume. When you are in Gold Souk, your senses will be in absolute delight because the marketplaces are filled with such delicious smells. If you ask me, it adds to the luxurious ambiance of the place. Another nostalgic aspect of Gold Souk is the bargaining. I know it sounds a bit weird, but it is true. There is often the sound of hustle and bustle in the market and the sound of merchants haggling with customers to and fro on the topic of the price of the perfumes they sell. An authentic and real experience of the city is what you get here if that is something you are interested in. Nothing Beats The Beauty Of The Evening in the Souk We have all heard of the beauty of the golden hour. Here is your chance to experience the literal golden hour because the evenings in the Gold Souk are a thing of beauty. The sunset in the market fills the place with a golden hue, which, when combined with the actual gold ornaments in the shops, gives off a vibe that cannot be described in words. As the sweaty afternoon paves the way to a cool and calm night, the evening stands out as a natural wonder. If you thought the jewelry in the shops was amazing in the afternoon, then you will be amazed by how beautiful it looks in the actual golden light of the evening. If you want to get some pictures taken of yourself and your family in the Gold Souk, then this is the best time to do so. Again, it is excellent to take a stroll in the souk at this time, as you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the place more this way. A Tiny Itinerary For Tourists For all those who felt super happy while getting to know the Gold Souk but could not get a field trip plan out of it, here is an itinerary to help you with the process. Now, you do not have to follow it as is, this is just a template:   Breakfast at a Local Café Start the day with a

Oceanic Splendors: A Detailed Journey into Dolphin Life at Atlantis Aquaventure

Who doesn’t love dolphins? I know I do. They are such fun and docile mammals who remind us of all things fun and wonderful. Have you ever wanted to meet them up close?  Well, Atlantis Aquaventure has just opened the doors for you to meet them if you are up for it! If there is one thing that kids and adults like the same, it’s waterpark and dolphins. Find the mix of both of them in Atlantis and make it your holiday destination! Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark What do you think about making this vacation completely water-based? It is quite a novel idea, isn’t it? If you are on board, then let me introduce you to the best location for this: Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark in Dubai. As it is the biggest waterpark in the world, Atlantis Aquaventure has over 150 water rides in it! I mean, you would definitely need a whole week of stay in this wonderland of a place to get to every ride. And not only that, but the waterpark has one of the most impressive aquariums in the world, known as The Lost Chambers Aquarium, and it has a whopping 65000 marine animals in it! It is nothing less than grand. The best part about spending time here is that both adults and kids can enjoy the place equally. I haven’t spoken about the star of the show yet, which is the dolphins! In the Atlas Village, you get a closer look at the very friendly Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and spend time with them. Cool, right? Meeting The Resident Dolphins The best part about visiting the Atlantis AquaVenture Waterpark is not just the rides or the aquarium but getting to actually meet the wonderful dolphins. In a time when people are growing less and less sympathetic to the marine life around them, the Atlas Village shines as a beam of hope. Here, you not only get to see the dolphins in action but also interact with them, and the mammal experts will help you learn more about the dolphins’ lifestyle and other details. If you ask me, I would say it is an excellent opportunity to appreciate nature and build a connection with it through dolphins. It can also be an extremely efficient educational session for kids as well. We can understand how our actions affect marine life and how we can make life a tad bit easier for them, if possible. Apart from the activities you get to do with the dolphins (which we will get to in a bit), you can also opt for a behind-the-scenes tour where the marine experts of the waterpark tell you how they care for the dolphins and enrich their lives. It also gives you a chance to take a closer look at how the food is prepared for the mammals, how they are trained, and how their routine checkup gets done. I guarantee you, it is going to be super fun! Top 5 Dolphin Activities in Atlantis Aquaventure Now that you have a general idea of what to expect let us get into the specifics. Before you buy the tickets, take a look at the activities you will be able to do with the dolphins at Atlantis Aquaventure:   1. Dolphin Swim Are you a confident swimmer above the age of 8? Then Dolphin Swim is something you have to try out. It gives you a chance to observe the behavior of dolphins underwater as you swim along with them. It is also an opportunity to go snorkeling in the deep end of the Dolphin Bay lagoon. The clear blue water and the instructor make it absolutely safe to swim to your heart’s content.   2. Dolphin Encounter Now, do not get disheartened if you do not know how to swim. There are other fun activities you can do with the dolphins, like literally encountering them. Anyone above the age of 2 can take part in a dolphin encounter because the water is only waist-high. The marine mammal specialists will be with you, explaining the interesting facts about dolphins.   3. Dolphin Kayaking Have you been planning to go kayaking this vacation? You can tick that item off your bucket list as you visit Atlantis because you not only get a chance to kayak but are accompanied by the dolphins as well!  There are options to go kayaking alone or as a couple, and the location is none other than the Dolphin Bay lagoon.   4. Dolphin Meet and Greet If you are not a fan of getting into the water, then this meet-and-greet option would be perfect for you. It is a completely dry experience where you sit at the shore, and the dolphins will be brought to you by the marine experts. This way, you get to learn more about the dolphins, their anatomy, and so on, without having to actually get into the water.   5. Dolphin Paddle If you are a good swimmer and are over the age of 12, I highly recommend you try out the paddling experience that Atlantis offers. You get on a paddleboard and paddle in the Dolphin Bay lagoon with the dolphins as they accompany you during the paddling process. It is quite fun, actually, if you can balance yourself in a paddleboard.   6. Dolphin Sunrise Now this is something open for in-house guests alone, as Dolphin Sunrise, as the name suggests, needs you to be present at Atlantis during the early morning. In this activity, you are ushered to the Dolphin Bay early in the morning, where you get a chance to see the dolphins going about their morning routine in style. It is indeed an excellent opportunity to observe nature so up close and appreciate its beauty. So, if you get a chance to see the dolphin sunrise, do not miss it.
